F*CKSHOVEL Featuring Former CRADLE OF FILTH Drummer: Live Dates Announced

FUCKSHOVEL, the U.K.-based metal/punk outfit featuring former CRADLE OF FILTH drummer Dave "Dr K" Hirschheimer, have lined up the following dates prior to going into the studio to complete their first album:

Feb. 24 - The Peel - Kingston, London, UK
Feb. 25 – (afternoon) Bar 44 – Guisborough, UK (metal all-dayer)
Feb. 25 – (evening) Sanctuary Rock Bar – Burnley, UK
Mar. 11 - The Underworld - Camden, London, UK
Mar. 14 - Hope & Anchor - Islington, London, UK

FUCKSHOVEL describe their music as "a punk attitude with a metal edge. No solos. No ballads. No deadweight. Full-on and unrelenting. Mosh, Kermit and singer Jack Death recruited Johnboy and Dr K in June 2005 and set about writing a set of songs that reflected former day jobs in CRADLE OF FILTH and DECIMATOR and a plethora of rock, metal and skater-punk bands. With a set of incendiary songs, FUCKSHOVEL are ready to bury people 'live'."
